Glendale is a beautiful city that sits just north to north west in the Phoenix metropolitan area. As of 2006 the population was tracked at 246,531 people inside almost 56 square miles. The city is home to the Arizona Cardinals football team and the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team. Glendale has many malls and shopping centers strategically placed so that residents don’t have far to go to meet all of their needs.

Many different education options can be found inside Glendale. There are various private and public schools all within close proximity to residents. Glendale also has an array of higher education options from Glendale Community College to Arizona State University west campus to Midwestern University. Glendale is a great place for new or growing families.

Property in this area can range from the very affordable to the totally extravagant. It all depends on what the buyer is looking for. At the moment property values are at a huge dip from what they’ve been in the past. However, within the past couple months that trend has changed and real estate in the Glendale area has seen a .5% increase in value.

This could mean that property has hit the very bottom and is on its way up in a very steady and permanent way. One thing’s for certain, the market appears to be stabilizing and making home owning drastically more affordable in the Glendale area than it has been in years. Getting in on this opportunity could be a very good idea if you have the resources.
