Victory Lanes Volleyball

Volleyball players in the Phoenix area looking to wet their appetite for some sand, need not look any further. Every Friday night at 7:00 the volleyball draw starts over at Victory Lanes. Victory Lanes is located at 43rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak road, just behind the Wet n’ Wild. It costs $2 to enter the gate and $5 to enter the tournament, making it $7 total to play.

                How the tournament is ran:

  • All teams are picked in a semi random nature based on equal skill distribution between teams.
  • Teams generally consist of teams of 4 with at least one girl per team.
  • There are two practice games (pool games) in the very beginning to set up the brackets.
  • The tournament itself is double elimination.
  • Skill level is at base to know the basics of the game and be willing to play your heart out.
  • First and second place teams get cash rewards.

Even if your team gets out quickly, you can still play non-tournament games on any empty courts. There is a bar and restaurant inside the complex for those who like to eat up and relax after a hard week. It’s a very fun and competitive environment. Come out quick because the Friday night draws end in November and don’t start back up until March.
